If you are already registered with the BSA, you should know the drill when it comes to behavior. We want to provide useful, helpful information here as a central launch-point for scouts and scouters in Brooklyn (and NYC). That means keep the Scout Oath and Law in mind when you post. Communicate as clearly as you can, keeping in mind that your aim is to avoid being misunderstood (which is a bit trickier than just throwing up the minimal amount of information to be understood).
If you’re posting something here that you wouldn’t want a scout to read, then don’t post it.
If your troop/pack doesn’t have a web site, you can use ours to get the news out. Just sign up, an admin will approve your account after verifying who you are, and you can get “contributor” status which will let you post. If you need more access, let us know via the contact page or come visit a Brooklyn Roundtable and meet us in person.
