The annual Steak-Out is this next weekend, moved to Sunday to avoid conflicts with 9/11 memorials. We don’t have any special insights on what this year’s event will include, but recruitment and getting up and running with program activities will be a big deal this year. Scouting membership is down across the city after a year of quarantine, lockdowns, and various restrictions. Cub Scout membership was particularly hit hard. Come hear what’s happening in GNYC, and bring your questions and thoughts to share.
Early registration ends Wednesday, Sept 8. Walk-ins are possible, but please register early to insure they can get the food order correct. See you there!
